OLD/MASTERS 

​In 2009 I found a transparency archive of Old Masters Paintings. Time and climate had taken their toll on them, and the images were peeling away, covered with emulsion-eating fungi, etc. I began adding my own material manipulations on top, such as acid and fire, intentionally and intuitively peeling and scratching their surfaces, and then rescanned them.
